Heh, its something you only really appreciate once you've grown up and gotten over your fear of showing your artwork off in case it gets redrawn or all the things wrong pointed out.

He still pouts that there are things he never got to see (most noteable are things in the FullCircle Universe).

Thanks for the kind words and advice, I'll keep trying, I admit I've been feeling a bit low about it the past few days, but I wont give up.

By the way, it did not dawn on me that Fryguy64 was your brother until today. I'm jealous, I wish my siblings had similar interests to mine like that.

Let's see... you're a Mario fan, right? ^^ Always a good starter...

Right, next time you go anywhere, look around and find the strangest place you would find any Mario enemy (Goombas, Shyguys, whatever really), and doodle out how you think they'd act in that scene.

How's that?...

Something I can tell you now: you've got colouring down nicely, something I'm still working on. Plus your characters tend to have nice serene expressions. It makes them absolutely adorable. All I can really say is 'keep on doodling, keep on practicing' and you'll wind up with some amazing art there. I know loads of people say that, but to be honest its the best way. I still discover new things I need to work on as each day goes by; It wasn't that long ago I did realise that eyes do change drastically with expressions, and I need to work on that (a picture can still look good without that, but its one of those finer touches).

The other thing I can suggest, something I should remember to say to Fryguy64 at some point... Observations. Sometimes just sitting there and watching things/people/animals helps you see something you might not have really paid attention to before, and the more you draw it, the more it brings realisms into the art. ^_^

I want you to know that it was you that first made me decide to make A Deviantart account, so I'd like to thank you big time for that. Your work has been an inspiration to me. I was wondering if you could explain the whole process that goes into you making one of your pictures? I don't want to copy your ideas or steal your work or anything, I'm just wondering what I'm missing with my own stuff? I'm particularly interested in how expressive you make everything, and how well you portray emotion.
